About The Villages Empower YOUR Power Lifestyle Club
The Empower Your Power Club (EYP) is a positive-vibe forum to empower, educate, and energize The Villages' women residents, regardless of marital or employment status, to embrace their golden journey. Whether you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed by all the changes and losses happening in your life or feeling content and doing well, EYP is for you. No matter where you are along your journey, the subject matter will provide either new or reminder tips, techniques, and insights to keep you moving forward no matter what is going on in your world.
Nancy Stampahar and Mary Ellen Shea are serving as co-facilitators to keep our club and your own personal growth evolving. We will provide engaging presentations, break-out and take-away activities, discussions, volunteer opportunities, and inspiration. Our monthly meetings and initiatives will be created according to EYP Club members' needs, interests, and involvement. We have to be in this together to achieve success.
We are not a traditional support group but we do provide support. We want all members to feel welcome, validated, and supported by fellow members. We want you to feel good about yourself and your life. In turn, we hope members will help others feel the same.
For many reasons, it is important for women to support women. In addition to EYP members supporting each other, volunteer opportunities to empower women and girls in The Villages and its surrounding communities are plenty. ***Note: Our tone will not be like the original empowered liberated women of the sixties who burned their bras. But do feel free not to wear one! lol
We meet the 1st Monday of the month from 5-630pm at Rohan Recreation Center.
Meetings are free and do not require RSVP.
All Villages' snowbirds and full-time residents are welcomed!
